The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) is pleased to announce the full roadway reopening of Cascade Road SW between Willis Mills SW to Kingsdale Drive SW. The roadway was temporarily closed to accommodate construction and resurfacing activities.

ATLDOT initiated a 24-hour construction schedule from August 11 to August 16, 2025, to accelerate completion of the final phase of resurfacing and remove the detour between Willis Mill Road SW and Kingsdale Drive SW.

Despite rainy weather conditions, crews successfully completed milling, repaving, and temporary roadway striping on Tuesday, August 19.
