Atlanta Streets Alive is a FREE community event series that celebrates Atlanta's urban core and supports local business with temporary car-free streets. Over three Sundays in 2024, approximately three miles of Peachtree Street will close to cars and open to people!
Atlanta Streets Alive opens streets temporarily for constituents to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play.
The events turn the street into a park space that connects our city. Atlanta Streets Alive is not a festival, parade, or a race, attendees can start or stop at any point.
Please visit our official Atlanta Streets Alive webpage at atlantastreetsalive.org to stay up to date on the latest developments of this exciting event series.
Atlanta Streets Alive 2024 will activate midtown and downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street from 15th Street to Mitchell Street. Meet up with friends and family at a local business or one of activity hubs along the route. Vehicles will be able to cross the Peachtree Street route at APD-monitored traffic crossings, see map for details.
Street Closure: 11a.m. – 6p.m.
Event time: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
