All new requests should be entered via ATL 311. All requests due to development or safety, are vetted by Street Lighting Transportation Engineers and Inspectors. Assessments are carried out by them and recommendations are made in collaboration with Georgia Power staff in regards to the installation of new lights or the recommendation for the requestor to lease lights and be responsible for the energy usage.
To report a streetlight outage, please contact ATL 311. Once the service request is submitted, technical staff is dispatched, and the location is assessed. Repairs are made by the Department of Transportation or Georgia Power depending on the source of the outage.
