Wesley Parkmond

Mr. Parkmond has over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, with a background in strategic planning, project and construction management, design, budgeting, and client relations. His leadership has been instrumental in delivering major transportation, water, wastewater, energy, and aviation projects.

Prior to joining ATLDOT, Mr. Parkmond served as a consultant supporting key City of Atlanta infrastructure initiatives, including Renew Atlanta, TSPLOST, and the Moving Atlanta Forward program. He holds a B.S. in General Science from Morehouse College, a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MBA in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.

He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
