Douglas Nagy

Douglas Nagy serves as Deputy Commissioner for the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) and oversees the Office of Strategy & Planning. He leads transportation planning for Atlanta and is focused on making Atlanta's streets safer through the city's Vision Zero road safety program.

Nagy previously led transportation and public sector projects across 10 countries in Asia and Latin America with McKinsey & Company. He co-founded McKinsey's office in Medellín, Colombia and speaks fluent Spanish. Prior to management consulting, Nagy served as the youngest Main Street manager in America, leading the first Main Street program in his Ohio hometown.

Nagy earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree with honors in political science from The Ohio State University.
