As part of the Downtown City Hall Vicinity Resurfacing Project, on-street parking has been removed from Washington Street SW between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW and Memorial Drive SW to accommodate installation of new bike lanes.

Within the project limits, Washington Street SW has been reduced from four (4) traffic lanes and one (1) parking lane to three (3) lanes for vehicle travel and two (2) bike lanes (see illustration below).

On-street parking will no longer be available on Washington Street SW between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW and Memorial Drive SW.
