The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will conduct overnight resurfacing activities with lane closures and traffic shifts on a portion of Piedmont Street SE/NE to minimize traffic impacts in the City of Atlanta’s Downtown and Midtown areas.

One traffic lane at a time will be temporarily closed on Piedmont Avenue SE/NE from MartinLuther King, Jr., Drive SE to North Avenue NE to accommodate resurfacing activities. Lanes will shift but will remain open to vehicular traffic for the duration of the closure.

Through traffic motorists are encouraged to use Peachtree Street NE to avoid the workzone.

Enforcement officers and flaggers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.
