The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will close a portion of Peachtree Street to vehicular traffic as a part of this Sunday’s “Atlanta Streets Alive” (ASA) event.

The Peachtree Street closure will accommodate the 2025 edition of “Atlanta StreetsAlive,” a free community event series that celebrates Atlanta’s urban core and supports local businesses with temporary car-free streets.

This is the first of five (5) ASA events scheduled in 2025.

A total of 17 intersections will be totally closed with barricades throughout the event.Intersections at the following streets will be intermittently open to vehicular traffic with the assistance of traffic control personnel:

·     10th Street NE

·     Ponce De Leon Avenue NE

·     North Avenue NE

·     Pine Street NE

·     Ralph McGill Boulevard NE

·     Baker Street NW

·     John Portman Boulevard NW

·     Edgewood Avenue NE
