Intermittent lane closures will begin the week of May 6, 2024, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Closures will continue until the sidewalk repair and ADA ramp upgrade project is completed. Anticipated completion date for the project is January 2025.
Portions of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive between: Ollie Street NW to Mathewson Place SW, Mathewson Place SW to Racine Street SW, Racine Street SW to West Lake Avenue NW, Larchwood Road SW to Barfield Avenue SW, Harwell Road NW to Delmar Lane NW
The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will intermittently close a portion of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive SW to accommodate sidewalk repairs and ADA ramp upgrades.
The road will remain open throughout of the duration of the work. Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist the public in navigating through the construction area.
