The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) and the Department of Watershed Management (DWM) are pleased to announce that Lakeside Drive NE is now open to traffic. A portion of Lakeside Drive NE was closed to accommodate a water main repair.

Local traffic will be permitted to access the driveways on Lakeside Drive NE from the intersection at Sims Avenue NE.

The following detour are in place to accommodate traffic around the area of Lakeside Drive NE where the water main repair is underway:

The road closure was implemented following a water main break at the intersection of Lakeside Drive NE and Kingsboro Road NE. An 8-inch pipe has been successfully repaired and DWM conducted the necessary steps to complete restore water services.
