The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) has implemented a northbound “No Left Turn” restriction along Krog Street NE at the intersection of Dekalb Avenue NE.
To improve safety and reduce traffic delays at the intersection of Krog StreetNE and Dekalb Avenue NE, ATLDOT crews have installed a “No Left Turn” sign on Krog Street NE for northbound motorists seeking to turn westbound onto Dekalb Avenue NE.
Currently, northbound traffic on Krog Street NE at Dekalb Avenue NE frequently backs up past the Krog Street/Wylie Street intersection, with extensive queues on both the eastbound and westbound approaches of Wylie Street, as well as the northbound approach of Estoria Street.
The “No Left Turn” restriction for northbound motorists will enable ATLDOT to collect valuable traffic data to determine its effectiveness in mitigating the long queues and providing safe access to Wylie and Estoria streets.
Questions and/or concerns related to this closure may be directed to Atlanta Department of Transportation at: atldot@atlantaga.gov.
