ATLDOT Commissioner Solomon Caviness will provide an overview of the Cascade Road Complete Street Project Phase I accelerated construction schedule.

To expedite the reopening of Cascade Road and the completion of this project, ATLDOT will implement an around-the-clock construction schedule from August 11 through August 16, focusing on Cascade Road between Willis Mill Road SW and Kingsdale DriveSW. Crews will perform milling, repaving, and temporary striping—paving the way for the removal of detours and direct access to Cascade corridor businesses.

ATLDOT will launch the final phase of resurfacing for the Cascade Road Complete StreetPhase I project beginning Monday, August 11, 2025, with full roadway access anticipated by the end of August.
