The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) and Midtown Alliance announces the substantial completion of the Juniper Complete Street Project. This vital midtown corridor enhances multimodal connectivity between the city’s residential, businesses, and key destinations.
The Juniper Complete Street Project extends twelve blocks between 14th Street to Ponce de Leon Avenue. This one-mile corridor features resurfaced and striped two-lane roadway, protected and separated bike lanes, widened sidewalks, new street trees, and pedestrian-scale LED lighting. Additional improvements include upgraded traffic signals trash/recycling receptacles, and a network of stormwater planters that absorb rainwater.
ATLDOT Commissioner Solomon Caviness and Midtown Alliance President & CEO Kevin Grenn will be available to discuss the project and major infrastructure improvements included.
