The ribbon-cutting celebrates the completion of the Silver Comet ConnectorMacArthur Blvd NW Segment project, which now provides the community with a critical 0.4-mile concrete side path along MacArthur Boulevard from Chattahoochee Avenue NW to the existing Whetstone Trail.
This newly completed segment significantly enhances mobility along the corridor by enabling safe, non-motorized access for pedestrians and bicyclists. In addition, theMacArthur segment is a vital step toward realizing the larger vision of extending theSilver Comet Trail directly into Downtown Atlanta.
