The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will impose a ThanksgivingHoliday moratorium on lane, road, and sidewalk closures to provide the public with access to all roads within the City of Atlanta for travel and excursions free of construction.

Conditions of the moratorium include:

➢ The moratorium will be in effect from 5:00 a.m. on, Wednesday, November 26, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
➢ At a minimum, no lane, road, or sidewalk closure for construction will be allowed on any City of Atlanta side street, local street, collectors and/or arterials, sidewalks, and easements.

More stringent restrictions already in effect for specific construction projects will apply.
