The proposed project will consist of support for public engagement activities, conceptual design, and preliminary design (including PFPR) for sidewalk improvements on Beecher Road/Street: along the south and eastern side of Beecher Road from Benjamin E Mays Drive SW to Rector Drive SW, along the south side of Beecher Street from Beecher Ct to Waters Drive, and along the southern side of Beecher Street from Atwood Street SW to Donnelly Ave. SW. The sidewalk improvements will include construction and maintenance of proposed and existing sidewalks, restriping, pedestrian crossing improvements, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades, intersection improvements, drainage assessment and repair, and concrete curbing. The project is to be built to provide continuous sidewalk throughout the corridor to improve the safety of the pedestrians.
