Scope
Per approved revised concept (January 6, 2015) for PI 0009397, the proposed multiuse trail would begin along the former CSX rail corridor starting from the end of Segment 1 west of the I-75/85 overpass to Boulevard Drive. Includes, but is not limited to, erosion control, grading, demolition, site retaining/decorative walls, storm drainage, utilities, curb, asphalt paving, concrete walks/trail paving, pavers, lighting, security cameras, signals, signage and markings, landscaping, fencing/railings, site furniture/waste receptacles, bollards, bridge updates, and maintenance. The trail would be 14’ wide with 2’ shoulders and be constructed on the north side of the existing railroad bed. Concrete retaining walls would be constructed at various locations along the alignment to minimize impacts to property adjacent to the rail corridor.
