The project encompassed roadway resurfacing and restriping, installation of on-street parking, replacement of non-compliant ADA ramps and the adjustment of utilities within the roadway. The bike facility installed along this corridor is the first completed for the Safer Streets Initiative. The bicycle lane is protected by wheel stops and bollards in the buffer and includes bike lane striping and signage. Bus stops and other associated improvements were also installed for Xpress, Cobb and Georgia Tech buses traveling through the corridor.
