Adams Drive SW & Childress Drive SW

The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces impending traffic pattern shifts on portions of Adams Drive and Childress Drive to accommodate street resurfacing.
One lane will temporarily close, with traffic shifting to another lane to accommodate resurfacing activities on:
- June 5 – Adams Drive (from Cascade Road and Childress Drive SW)
- June 15 – Childress Drive (from Cascade Road and Campbellton Road SW)
Lanes will shift but remain open to vehicular traffic for the duration of the closure.
Enforcement officers and flaggers will be onsite to assist with traffic control.

The lane closures/traffic shifts will begin on Adams Drive SW on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and will remain in place until the projects are complete.
