How can I report an obstacle or an inaccessible place in the crosswalk or sidewalk?

To report issues that prevent pedestrian accessibility, such as missing and/or broken ADA ramps and sidewalks, visit the ATL311.com web portal or contact the ATL311 Customer Service Center at 404-546-0311.

Upon completion of the submission, a service request record will be created for fulfillment by the Atlanta Department of Transportation.

ADA Advisory Committee

The City of Atlanta’s ADA Advisory Committee is a new committee established to address accessibility issues, particularly related to the city’s sidewalks and pedestrian infrastructure, following a lawsuit over inaccessible pedestrian rights-of-way.The committee’s responsibilities include developing procedures for handling disability discrimination complaints against the Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT), reviewing staff training on accessibility, providing input on accessibility during construction projects, and contributing to ATLDOT’s Self Evaluation and Transition Plan. It is a key component of a federal consent decree mandating improved accessibility for people with disabilities.
