Applying for an abandonment application
A petition may be submitted for the abandonment of certain portions of the ROW, including municipal streets under the purview of the City of Atlanta. This typically takes up to 90 days, after a review by ATLDOT and approval from city council. Petitioners may send an email to [email protected], with “Abandonment Application” in the subject line. An application will be sent with filling instructions.
