The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces impending traffic pattern shifts to accommodate the resurfacing of Boulevard SE from McDonough Boulevard SE to Woodward Avenue SE.

Traffic shifts/lane closure will begin on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and remain in place from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until the project is completed.
Portions of one traffic lane at a time will be temporarily closed on Boulevard SE from McDonough Boulevard SE to Woodward Avenue SE to accommodate resurfacing activities. Work will begin at the McDonough Boulevard SE intersection and proceed northward. Lanes will shift but will remain open to vehicular traffic for the duration of the closure.
Enforcement officers and flaggers will be onsite to assist with traffic control.
