The Atlanta Department of Transportation is embarking on the first citywide transportation since the department was created in 2020. The Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) builds upon the recently adopted Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP, Plan A) to guide future transportation development in the city. The CTP has a horizon year of 2040, which aligns with the department’s Vision Zero goal, and provides an opportunity for the city to collectively determine which projects and policies will most effectively advance transportation safety and mode shift goals.
