The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces an impending along a portion of Howell Mill Road NW from Northside Parkway NW to Downwood Circle NW to accommodate tree removal activities.
Howell Mill Road NW from Northside Parkway NW to Downwood Circle NW
This temporary road closure will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The following detours will be in effect to accommodate the closure.
Traveling northbound on Howell Mill Rd NE:
Turn right onto Moores Mill Rd NW
Turn left onto Northside Pkwy NW
Traveling southbound Howell Mill Rd NE:
Turn right onto Moores Mill Rd NE
Traffic will be restricted to local access during this closure. Sidewalks along Howell Mill Rd NW will remain closed until tree removal work is completed.
