Peachtree Street from Mitchell Street SW to 15th Street NE
The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will close a portion of Peachtree Street to vehicular traffic as a part of this Sunday’s “Atlanta Streets Alive” (ASA) event.
Peachtree Street from Mitchell Street SW to 15th Street NE
The closure will be in place from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 7:00 p.m. on September 27, 2026.
The Peachtree Street closure will accommodate the September 2026 edition of “Atlanta Streets Alive,” a free community event series that celebrates Atlanta’s urban core and supports local businesses with temporary car-free streets.
This is the fifth of seven (7) ASA events scheduled for 2026.
A total of 15 intersections will be totally closed with barricades throughout the event. Intersections at the following streets will be intermittently open to vehicular traffic with the assistance of traffic control personnel:
- 15th Street NE
- 14th Street NE
- 10th Street NE
- 3rd Street NE
- Ponce De Leon Avenue NE
- North Avenue NE
- Linden Avenue NE
- Pine Street NE
- Ralph McGill Boulevard NE
- Baker Street NW
- John Portman Boulevard NW
- Ellis Street
- Auburn Avenue
- Decatur Street
- Mitchell Street
