Applying for a street renaming and/or dedication permit
A street renaming and/or dedication application is needed if a citizen of the city desires to submit to the city a request to rename a street (a “street renaming”) or name or dedicate (“dedication”) a public place to a noteworthy individual or organization, that citizen must submit to the city’s commissioner of its department of transportation an application for the street renaming or dedication. The number of individuals required by this section must sign the application.
