West Lake Avenue NW from Martin Luther King Jr., Drive NW to Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW
The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces an impending traffic pattern shift on a portion of West Lake Avenue NW to accommodate ADA ramp upgrades and minor sidewalk repairs.
West Lake Avenue NW from Martin Luther King Jr., Drive NW to Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW
This current lane closure will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, and will remain in place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until the project is completed.
One lane will be temporarily closed to accommodate ADA ramp upgrades and minor sidewalk repairs on West Lake Avenue NW between Martin Luther King Jr., Drive NW and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW. Lanes will shift but will remain open to vehicular traffic for the duration of the closure.
To avoid the construction zone, local motorists are encouraged to use Chappell Road NW for thru traffic.
Enforcement officers and flaggers will be onsite to assist with traffic control.
