The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces a temporary road closure along a Shirley C. Franklin Boulevard from Garnett Street SW to Trinity Avenue SW to accommodate building construction activities.

This temporary road closure will take place from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026.
This closure is designed to maintain public safety during the assembly and mobilization of a tower crane for building construction.
The following detours will be in effect to accommodate the closure:
Traveling northbound on Shirley C. Franklin Blvd:
Turn left onto Memorial Dr SW
Turn right onto Peachtree St SW Turn right onto Trinity Ave SW
Turn left onto Shirley C. Franklin Blvd
