Harris Trail NW from Mt. Paran Road NW to Harris Valley Road NW
The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will temporarily close a portion of Harris Trail NW from Mt. Paran Road NW to Harris Valley Road NW to accommodate tree removal activities.
Harris Trail NW from Mt. Paran Road NW to Harris Valley Road NW
This temporary road closure will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The following detours will be in effect to accommodate the closure.
Traveling northbound on Harris Trail NW:
Continue on Mt. Paran Rd NW
Turn right onto Sentinel Post Rd NW
Turn right onto Whitewater Creek Rd NW
Traveling southbound on Harris Trail NW:
Turn right onto Whitewater Creek Rd NW
Turn left onto Sentinel Post Rd NW
Turn left onto Mt. Paran Rd NW
Traffic will be restricted to local access during this closure. Sidewalks along Harris Trail NW will remain closed until tree removal work is completed.
