Deering Road NW from Loring Drive NW to Alden Avenue NW
The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) announces animpending traffic pattern shift on Deering Road NW from Loring Drive NW toAlden Avenue NW to accommodate a sidewalk widening project along the north side of Deering Road NW.
One westbound lane will be temporarily closed to accommodate sidewalk widening on Deering Road NW from Loring Drive NW to Alden Avenue NW. The north side sidewalk will remain closed during the construction. Lanes will shift but will remain open to vehicular traffic for the duration of the closure.

This lane closure will begin on Monday, September 29, 2025, and remain in place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday until the project is completed.
