Atlanta Department of Transportation Celebrates “Biketober” with a Breakfast Station for Cyclists at City Hall

Calling all bike commuters! ATLDOT invites you to roll by its “Biketober Breakfast”station on your way into work. ATLDOT is hosting a coffee and donuts breakfast station for commuters who bike to work celebration of “Biketober 2025.”

Commemorated each October, “Biketober” is a month-long event presented byGeorgia Commute Options and the Atlanta Regional Commission. “Biketober” aligns with Atlanta’s Vision Zero Initiative to eliminate traffic fatalities and severe injuries by2040, supporting the City’s goals of sustainability and connectivity by promoting active transportation options that reduce congestion, improve air quality, and strengthen communities.

Streets are safer with fewer cars on the road, and ATLDOT is showing its support forcommuters who are reducing car trips by biking to work with a sweet treat at the start of the day
