6th Street NE from West Peachtree Street NW to Cypress Street NE

The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will temporarily close a portion of 6th Street NE from West Peachtree Street NW to Cypress Street NE to accommodate building maintenance activities at 30 5th Street NE.

The following detours will be in effect to accommodate the closure:

Traveling northbound on W. Peachtree St NW turning right on 6th St NE:
Turn right onto 7th St NE
Turn right onto Cypress St NE
Turn left onto 6th St NE regain normal traffic flow

Traveling eastbound on 6th St NE:
Turn left onto Cypress St NE
Turn right onto 5th St NE
Turn right onto W. Peachtree St NW
Turn left onto 6th St NE regain normal traffic flow

Traveling southbound on Cypress St NE turning right onto 6th St NE:
Turn right onto 5th St NE
Turn right onto W. Peachtree St NW
Turn left onto 6th St NE regain normal traffic flow

Traveling northbound on Cypress St NE turning left onto 6th St NE:
Turn right onto 6th St NE
Turn right onto Peachtree St NE
Turn left onto 5th St NE
Turn right onto W. Peachtree St NW
Turn left onto 6th St NE regain normal traffic flow

Traveling westbound on 6th St NE:
Turn left onto W. Peachtree St NW
Turn right onto 7th St NE
Turn right on Cypress St NE
Turn left onto 6th St NE regain normal traffic flow

Sidewalks along 6th Street NE will not be accessible during this closure.

Enforcement officers will be onsite to assist with traffic control.
