5TH Street NE from Marietta Street NW to Walton Street NW

The Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT) will temporarily close a portion of 5TH Street NE from West Peachtree Street NW to Cypress Street NW to accommodate maintenance activities, at 30 5TH Street NE.

The following detours will be in effect to accommodate the closure.

Traveling northbound on West Peachtree St NW attempting a right turn onto 5th St NE:
Bypass 5th St NE
Turn right onto 6th St NE
Turn right onto Cypress St NE
Turn left onto 5th St NE to regain normal traffic flow

Traveling westbound traffic on 5th St NE:
Turn left onto Cypress St NE
Turn right onto 4th St NE
Turn right onto West Peachtree St NW to regain normal traffic flow

Traveling southbound traffic on Cypress St NE attempting a right turn onto 5th St NE:
Bypass 5th St NE
Turn right onto 4th St NE
Turn right onto West Peachtree St NW to regain normal traffic flow

Traveling northbound traffic on Cypress St NE attempting a left turn onto5th St NE:
Turn right onto 5th St NE
Turn right onto Peachtree St NE
Turn right onto 4th St NE
Turn right onto West Peachtree St NW to regain normal traffic flow

Sidewalks on the north side along 5TH Street NE will not be accessible during this closure.

Enforcement officers will be onsite to assist with traffic control.
