Pearl Street Traffic Calming

Pearl Street traffic calming project consists of demolition and removal of existing asphalt pavement approximately 12-inch deep to install proposed concrete raised crosswalk at mid-block. Project includes installation of a speed table on the approach and one on the trailing side of the raised crosswalk. The project will also replace broken brick paver sidewalks in the immediate vicinity of the raised crosswalk, installation of traffic signs, striping, granite curbing, curb ramp for ADA compliance and provisions for drainage. The project is located on Pearl Street between SR154/ Memorial Drive and Gaskill Street in Atlanta Council District 5.
