Scope
PHASE 1 includes procuring and installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), connected vehicle technology, and emergency vehicle signal controls. Also includes upgrading pedestrian detection at the majority of the signals and the installation of mid-block crossings with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB). PHASE 2 includes design and installation of improved signal timing coordination and new fiber optic communication.
