D12 Safe Routes to Schools

City Council requests that the funds shall be utilized for the following purposes
a) Conducting a comprehensive assessment of existing routes to identify potential safety hazards and areas requiring improvement. b) Implementing necessary infrastructure enhancements, including but not limited to sidewalks, crosswalks, traffic calming measures, and signage, to ensure the safety of our children while commuting to and from school. c) Enhancing public awareness and education campaigns aimed at promoting safe pedestrian and bicycle practices among students, parents, and the community at large.
