Atlanta Memorial Park Pedestrian Access and Safety Improvements

Extends approximately 0.91 miles along Peachtree Creek on the northern and western perimeter of Atlanta Memorial Park (Bobby Jones golf course). The project includes the construction of a new bicycle and pedestrian bridge between Dellwood Drive and Colonial Homes Circle over Peachtree Creek. Additionally, sidewalks will be installed on the south side of Woodward Way. The project consists of the following major elements: construction of a 10-12’ wide concrete shared-use path, a 140 LF bridge, structural bridge extensions, and trail amenities. Additional work associated with the project includes header curb installation, drainage improvements, signage, tree planting, and landscaping.
