J E Lowery Boulevard Complete Street

Includes the rehabilitation of pavement, improvements to sidewalks and ADA ramps, installation of mid-block crossings with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at some locations and marked crosswalk at other locations, new Two-Way Left Turn Lanes, and Drainage improvements from Mitchell St to Joseph E Boone Blvd. Work also includes improvements to remove the traffic signal and re-align the intersection of Mayson Turner Rd, in addition to landscaping, pedestrian lighting and hardscaping to improve aesthetics. Signal coordination through fiber optic communication installation, and signal upgrades will also be implemented from MLK Jr Dr. to Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy.
