Partial and full lane closures will be in effect along Hank Aaron Dr, due to ongoing construction efforts for the MARTA Rapid Summerhill transit line.

The lane closures will accommodate utility, milling, and resurfacing work being done along Hank Aaron Dr. Construction efforts can be expected from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 P.m., Monday through Fridays. The following spans along Hank Aaron Dr can expect to see the following impacts from construction.

Southbound along Hank Aaron Drive SE

• Lane closures from Fulton St to Georgia Ave SE

• Lane closures from Georgia Ave SE to Bill Lucas Drive Southwest

• Closed entry to Georgia State Blue lot from Hank Aaron Dr

     o Access to lot will remain open on Fulton St SW

• Southbound service on Route 55:

     o The stop at Hank Aaron Dr SW & Haygood Ave SW is temporarily closed. For southbound service, please board at the stop at Weyman Ave SW & Hank Aaron Dr SW which is 0.1 miles south of the stop on Weyman Ave SW.

The stop at Hank Aaron Dr SW & Georgia Ave SE is temporarily closed. For southbound service, please board at the stop at Hank Aaron Dr SW & Bass St SE which is 0.2 miles south of the closed stop.
